Features of Hymexazol
1. Strong Systemic Activity
Efficacy of Hymexazol is very strong; it is quickly absorbed by plants and effectively translocates throughout the plant, rapidly eliminating pathogens.
2. Long Residual Activity in Soil
When applied as a soil drench, Hymexazol does not degrade quickly like other fungicides. Its components bind with metal ions in the soil, enhancing its efficacy while increasing antibacterial activity. This is why it is considered an excellent soil disinfectant.
3. Promotes Root Growth
Research indicates that after absorption by plants, Hymexazol triggers reactions that promote the production of specific substances, enhancing root growth and increasing root hair density.

Application
Hymexazol is primarily used for seed treatment, soil mixing, or irrigation. Mixing it with Furamet is more effective for seed disinfection and soil treatment. For seed treatment, dry mixing is recommended to avoid phytotoxicity from wet mixing or soaking.
To control damping-off in rice seedlings, apply 3–6 mL of 30% Hymexazol per square meter (0.9–1.8 g active ingredient) diluted in water, then spray on the seedbed or seedling box before sowing. Spray again with the same dosage before transplanting.
For controlling damping-off in sugar beets, mix 400–700 g of 70% Hymexazol wettable powder (280–490 g active ingredient) and 400–800 g of 50% thiram wettable powder (200–400 g active ingredient) with 100 kg of beet seeds.
To control wilt in watermelons, treat seeds with a 2000-fold dilution of 70% wettable powder, or spray a 4000-fold dilution during the growth period.
For controlling root rot in fruit trees, remove rotten roots from the soil, then treat with a 2000-fold dilution of 70% wettable powder for root drenching.
For damping-off in ginseng, irrigate the soil with a 2000-fold dilution of 70% wettable powder to a depth of 2–3 cm before emergence.
To control root rot and damping-off in yam, after sowing, apply 300–400 mL of 15% Hymexazol solution per acre, diluted in 60 kg of water, and spray evenly in the planting furrow before covering with soil.
