DAMINOZIDE B9
DAMINOZIDE B9

Daminozide B9 92% SP Plant Growth Regulator

Daminozide (B9), after absorption by plants, inhibits the biosynthesis of endogenous gibberellins and auxins. It mainly suppresses excessive elongation of new shoots, shortens internode length, increases leaf thickness, and enhances chlorophyll content. Additionally, it helps prevent flower drop and promotes fruit set. The compound induces the formation of adventitious roots and stimulates root growth while also improving cold resistance.

Daminozide (B9) enters the plant through the roots, stems, and leaves, exhibiting good internal absorption and translocation properties. It moves with the nutrient flow to the target sites. In the leaves, it elongates the palisade tissue, loosens the spongy tissue, increases chlorophyll content, and enhances photosynthesis. At the top of the plant, it inhibits mitosis in the apical meristem, while in the stems and branches, it shortens internode distances and suppresses branch elongation.

Accumulating mainly in the apical and sub-apical meristems, Daminozide (B9) affects the activity of cytokinins and auxins. This action suppresses cell division and vertical growth, resulting in shorter and sturdier plants without impacting flowering and fruiting. It enhances resistance to cold and drought, promotes the formation of flower buds for the next year, prevents flower and fruit drop, encourages fruit coloration, and extends storage life.
