Hexazinone 75%WDG 25%SL

Hexazinone is a plant photosynthesis inhibitor with both contact and systemic action. After coming into contact with the plant’s roots and leaves, it is transported through the xylem to various parts of the plant, causing metabolic disruption and preventing the plant from producing nutrients, ultimately leading to starvation and death. Under the influence of hexazinone, the leaves of the plant initially exhibit necrotic spots, followed by wilting and eventual death, with the roots eventually rotting and dying as well. When acting on trees, huangqinketone not only causes old leaves to drop but also leads to the continuous shedding of newly emerged leaves.

Features of Hexazinone

Environmentally friendly. Hexazinone is low in toxicity to birds, fish, and livestock, has high mobility in the soil, and is broken down by microorganisms after entering the soil, causing no harm to the root systems of trees that have not come into contact with the solution.

Wide range of weed control. It is ineffective against pine trees and sugarcane, but it effectively kills almost all annual and perennial monocot and dicot weeds, as well as bamboo, shrubs, and trees.

Good compatibility. It can be mixed with other herbicides like Sulfometuron-methyl and diuron to enhance the speed of weed control.

Long-lasting effect. Hexazinone kills trees, weeds, and bamboo down to the roots, providing thorough weed control, thus having a longer residual effect compared to other herbicides.

Can be applied before rain. Hexazinone is a systemic herbicide, and higher soil moisture helps it work better; it can be applied before light, medium, or heavy rain.

Diverse application methods. Most other herbicides can only be mixed with water for spraying, while Hexazinone can be applied by broadcasting, spraying, injecting, or watering.

Application

Agricultural Field: Hexazinone can be used for weed control in fields, orchards, tea gardens, and other crops. It effectively controls both annual and perennial weeds, such as barnyard grass, crabgrass, foxtail, amaranth, and lamb’s quarters. The use of it can reduce competition from weeds, thereby improving crop yield and quality.

Forestry Field: In forestry, Hexazinone is primarily used for forest management, stand transformation, and the construction of firebreaks. It effectively removes weeds and shrubs from forested areas, providing a better environment for tree growth. Particularly in the construction of firebreaks, Hexazinone helps establish grass-free firebreaks, reducing the risk of wildfires.

Landscaping Field: Hexazinone is also widely used for weed control in urban landscaping, parks, and green belts. It can remove weeds from lawns, keeping them neat and aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, Hexazinone can be used for weed control around flowers, shrubs, and other plants, protecting their healthy growth.

Special Uses: Hexazinone has good efficacy against various weeds and trees, including weeds, shrubs, trees, vines, and woody plants. It can also be used for establishing forestry fire lines, forest regeneration, clearing land after logging, and controlling weeds in non-cultivated land.
