METOLACHLOR EC
METOLACHLOR EC

Metolachlor 97%TC, 960g/l EC Selective Herbicide

Metolachlor is primarily absorbed by the young shoots and transported upward, inhibiting the growth of both the shoots and the roots. Its mechanism of action mainly involves the inhibition of protein synthesis in germinating seeds, as well as the suppression of choline incorporation into phospholipids, disrupting the formation of lecithin. Due to the stronger absorption capability of young shoots of grassy weeds compared to broadleaf weeds, this herbicide is much more effective in controlling grassy weeds than broadleaf weeds.
