Indoxacarb 50g/L EC, 150g/L SC, 30%WDG

Indoxacarb is an organic compound and a broad-spectrum oxadiazine insecticide. It has unique action characteristics. It quickly converts into N2-decarbomethoxy metabolites within insects. These metabolites act on the inactivated voltage-gated sodium channels in insect nerve cells. They irreversibly block and disrupt the transmission of nerve impulses in insects. This leads to disordered movement, inability to feed, paralysis, and ultimately death. Indoxacarb has both contact and stomach poison effects. It effectively controls various pests on crops such as grains, cotton, fruits, and vegetables.

Features of Indoxacarb

1. Insecticide Indoxacarb has a wide range of pest control capabilities and can effectively control various pests on crops such as grains, cotton, fruits, and vegetables. It is suitable for the control of pests like beet armyworm, diamondback moth, cabbage looper, armyworm, cabbage moth, cotton bollworm, tobacco budworm, leafroller moth, apple codling moth, leafhoppers, inchworms, wireworms, potato beetles, and more on crops like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, little cucumbers, eggplants, lettuce, apples, pears, peaches, apricots, cotton, potatoes, grapes, and tea leaves.

2. Indoxacarb insecticide has both contact and stomach poison effects, being effective against larvae of all ages. The pesticide enters the insect’s body through contact and ingestion, leading to cessation of feeding within four hours, followed by paralysis. The coordination ability of the insects declines, causing most of the pest larvae to drop off the crops, with mortality usually occurring within 24 to 60 hours after application.

3. The insecticidal mechanism of Indoxacarb is unique and does not exhibit cross-resistance with other insecticides. It is low in toxicity to mammals and livestock while being very safe for non-target beneficial insects in the environment. It has low residue levels on crops, allowing for harvest the day after application. This is particularly suitable for multiple harvest crops such as vegetables, making it appropriate for integrated pest management and resistance management.

Application

When using Indoxacarb insecticide to control cabbage looper and diamondback moth, apply 5-10 grams of the 30% water-dispersible granules or 10-15 milliliters of the 15% suspension concentrate diluted with water for uniform spraying during the 2-3 instar larval stage of the pests. For controlling beet armyworm, during the early larval stage, apply 5-10 grams of the 30% water-dispersible granules or 10-20 milliliters of the 15% suspension concentrate per acre, diluted with water for uniform spraying. Based on the severity of the pest occurrence, it can be applied 2-3 times consecutively, with an interval of 5-7 days between each application. The effectiveness is better when used before 10 AM or after 4 PM, as well as in the evening. For controlling cotton bollworm, apply 10 grams of the 30% water-dispersible granules or 10-20 milliliters of the 15% suspension concentrate per acre, diluted with water for uniform spraying. Depending on the severity of the cotton bollworm damage, apply every 5-7 days for a total of 2-3 consecutive applications.
