Features of Cyflumetofen
1. Broad Spectrum and High Selectivity: Cyflumetofen can be widely used in crops such as citrus, apples, pears, grapes, strawberries, vegetables, tea trees, and flowers for the prevention and control of various mites including Tetranychus urticae, Panonychus citri, and other spider mites. It has a minimal negative impact on non-target organisms such as mammals, aquatic life, beneficial organisms, and natural enemies, including predatory mites.
2. Comprehensive Control of Mites with Rapid Efficacy: Cyflumetofen exhibits high activity against the Tetranychus genus and Tetranychus urticae, demonstrating effective activity against eggs, adult mites, juvenile mites, and larval stages. It is capable of killing eggs and active mites, with much higher efficacy on juvenile mites compared to adult mites. It has a rapid action, stopping feeding within 4 hours and paralyzing mites within 12 hours. When used at the recommended dosage, the effective period can last up to 30-40 days.
3. No Cross-Resistance and Safety for Crops: Due to its unique mechanism of action, Cyflumetofen shows no cross-resistance with other acaricides, demonstrating significant control effectiveness against mite strains that have developed resistance. The active ingredient of diflubenzuron can rapidly metabolize and decompose in soil and water, ensuring safety for crops. No phytotoxicity has been observed at routine application rates.
