Application
1. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Cotton Pests
For aphids during the seedling stage of cotton, use 1020 milliliters of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre; for fall aphids, use 25-35 milliliters. For cotton bollworm, red bollworm, corn borer, and diamondback moth, use 40-60 milliliters per acre, applied via water spray. This treatment can simultaneously control cotton leaf-cutting weevil, leaf folder, cotton boll weevil, and cotton blind weevil, and can manage the outbreak of cotton red spider mites. However, the effectiveness is poor against cotton aphids and cotton bollworms that have developed a high resistance to pyrethroid insecticides.
2. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Vegetable Pests
For vegetable aphids, use 5-10 milliliters of a 10% water emulsifiable concentrate, 20-40 milliliters of a 2.5% water emulsifiable concentrate, 20-30 grams of a 2.5% wettable powder, or 10-20 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre. For cabbage worms, apply 5-10 milliliters of a 10% water emulsifiable concentrate, 20-30 milliliters of a 25 grams per liter water emulsifiable concentrate, 20-30 milliliters of a 4.5% micro-emulsion, 7.5-10 grams of a 10% wettable powder, or 15-25 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre. For yellow melon borer, use 30-40 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre. For small cabbage looper (non-resistant populations), armyworm, beet armyworm, cabbage looper, tobacco budworm, and vegetable borer, apply 40-60 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre via water spray. Currently, many vegetable-producing areas in southern China have a high level of resistance in small cabbage loopers to this pesticide, and it is generally not advisable to continue using it for control.
For greenhouse whiteflies, use a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate diluted to 1000-1500 times for spraying.
For spider mites on eggplants and pepper, use a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate diluted to 1000-2000 times for spraying, which can have a certain inhibitory effect, but the effective period is short, and pest populations may rebound quickly after application.

3. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Fruit Pests
For various aphids on fruit trees, use a 4000-5000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate for spraying.
To control the citrus leaf-miner, during the initial release of new shoots or during peak egg-hatching periods, use a 2000-4000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate. This can also control citrus aphids and other leaf-feeding pests; reapply every 10 days. For controlling scale insects during the 1-2 instar nymph stage, use a 1000-2000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate for spraying.
To control apple codling moth, small leaf-roller moth, bagworm, pear fruit borer, peach fruit borer, and peach borer, spray with a 6000-8000 times diluted solution of 5% water emulsifiable concentrate or a 2000-3000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate.
For controlling leaf mites and rust mites on fruit trees, using low-concentration solutions can only inhibit the rapid increase in their numbers. Using a 1500-2000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate for spraying has an effective period of about 7 days against adults and nymphs, but it is ineffective against eggs. It should be used in combination with acaricides for better control.
4. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Tea Pests
Use a 4000-6000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate for spraying. For the small green leafhopper in the nymph stage, apply 15-20 milliliters of a 10% water emulsifiable concentrate per acre, or spray with a 3000-4000 times diluted solution of either 2.5% water emulsifiable concentrate or 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate. For tea orange gall mite and leaf gall mite, use a 1000-1500 times diluted solution during the early onset of mites.
5. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Wheat Aphids
Apply 10-15 grams of a 10% wettable powder or 15-20 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre; for armyworms use 20-30 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate for spraying.
6. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Soybean Pests
During the flowering period of soybeans, before the larvae bore into the pods, apply 20-30 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre for spraying. To control bridge caterpillars, bean leaf-rollers, and other pests, use 40-60 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre, applied via water spray.
To control aphids on rapeseed, diamondback moths, and vegetable borers, use a 3000-4000 times diluted solution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate for spraying, applying 30-50 kilograms of the spraying solution per acre.
For controlling red flower aphids, use 15-20 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre, applying 20-30 kilograms of water for spraying.
7. Lambda-Cyhalothrin for Tobacco Aphids
Use 30-40 milliliters of a 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per acre for spraying.
Efficient Chlorfenapyr is highly toxic to fish, shrimp, bees, and silkworms; do not contaminate fish ponds, rivers, bee yards, or mulberry gardens during application.
