PYRIDALYL EC

Pyridalyl Liquid 91% TC 10% SC 10.5% EC

Pyridalyl is a widely used insecticide in agriculture. Its insecticidal action mainly disrupts the insect nervous system, leading to death.

First, Pyridalyl interferes with the neurotransmitter transmission process in the insect nervous system. Neurotransmitters are chemicals that transmit information between nerve cells. They form synaptic connections and relay signals. Pyridalyl blocks the normal transmission of neurotransmitters. This blockage prevents nerve impulses from effectively passing to the next neuron, disrupting the normal function of the insect nervous system.

Second, Pyridalyl affects the muscle movement of insects. Insect muscle movement relies on the conduction of nerve impulses. The disruption caused by it leads to uncoordinated contraction and relaxation of muscles. This affects their ability to move normally.

In summary, Pyridalyl disrupts the insect nervous system by affecting neurotransmitter transmission and muscle movement. This action achieves its insecticidal purpose. Due to its high efficiency and broad-spectrum activity, it is widely used in agriculture.

Features of Pyridalyl

High Efficiency and Low Toxicity: As a highly effective and low-toxicity insecticide, Pyridalyl can effectively control pests while maintaining a high level of safety for humans and animals.

Unique Mechanism of Action: It has both contact and stomach toxic effects, allowing it to take effect rapidly. The symptoms of poisoning in insects are distinctly different from those caused by existing insecticide varieties, thereby providing a new strategy for pest control.

Environmentally Friendly: It is safe for vegetable crops, melons, field crops, and fruit trees, making it an environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural solution.

Long-term Control Effects: It achieves long-lasting pest control effects by killing newly hatched larvae and larvae of ages 1 to 3, as well as through ovicidal action.

Target Pests: Diamondback moth, fall armyworm, thrips, cotton bollworm, rice leaf folder, and leafminers.

Developable Formulations: 10% Pyridalyl SC; 10.5% Pyridalyl EC; 480 g/L Pyridalyl EC; 50%Pyridalyl EC; 35% Pyridalyl WP.

Application Technology: The application dosage of Pyridalyl varies depending on the crop and type of pest. Generally, using 10.5% Pyridalyl emulsion at a dosage of 750 to 1050 ml per hectare provides good control effects against diamondback moth on cabbage. It is recommended to use Pyridalyl during the peak hatching period of the pests’ eggs to the third instar larval stage for optimal control effectiveness.
