Application
1. When thidiazuron is used on cotton, it can induce the plants to produce abscisic acid and ethylene, allowing the green leaves to rapidly transfer nutrients to the young cotton bolls at the upper parts of the plants. The plants will not die off, achieving a combination of ripening, leaf drop, increased yield, and multiple effects in one. This makes the cotton mature earlier, and the bolls open up relatively earlier and more concentrated, increasing the proportion of cotton harvested before frost. The cotton will not lock in the bolls, will not shed fibers, will not drop flowers, increases fiber length, and improves lint percentage, making it beneficial for both mechanical and manual harvesting. The efficacy of thidiazuron lasts for a long time, causing leaves to drop while still green, which completely solves the problem of “dry but not falling,” reduces leaf contamination during mechanical cotton harvesting, and improves the quality and efficiency of mechanical harvesting operations. Additionally, it has a strong inhibitory effect on aphids.
2. For cherries, applying the product once during the initial flowering period (20% bloom) and once after flower shedding can prevent flower drop and fruit drop, increase the fruit set rate, and promote the enlargement of young fruits.
3. For apple trees, applying the product once when the central flowers open to 10-20% and once during full bloom can prevent flower drop and fruit drop, promote rapid enlargement of young fruits, and increase yield and quality.
4. For grapes, applying the product once during the enlargement period of young fruits after physiological fruit drop can prevent fruit drop, enhance the fruit set rate, and promote rapid fruit enlargement.
5. For peach trees, applying the product once during full bloom and again 20 days after flowering can increase the fruit set rate, promote rapid fruit enlargement, enhance color vibrancy, and lead to earlier maturation.
6. After the second cluster of tomatoes sets, applying the product can prevent flower drop and fruit drop, increase the fruit set rate, promote fruit growth, reduce hollow and deformed fruits, increase individual fruit weight, improve marketability, and enhance the plant’s resistance to early blight, late blight, and other diseases.
7. For peppers, using the product after the initial flowering and fruit set can inhibit excessive plant growth, increase the fruit set rate, promote rapid growth of pepper fruits, reduce deformed fruits, increase yield by over 50% on average, and also suppress the occurrence of side shoots.
