Application

Ametryn is for the control of annual weeds in fields of sugarcane, citrus, corn, soybeans, potatoes, peas and carrots. Higher doses can prevent some perennial weeds and aquatic weeds. Ametryn can promote plant growth at low concentrations, stimulate the growth of young shoots and roots, and promote the increase of leaf area and thickening of stems. However, at high concentrations, it can produce strong inhibition in plants. It is a selective herbicide for the control of broadleaf and grass weeds in banana, citrus, coffee, sugarcane, tea and non-cultivated land. It can be used before and after planting to control broadleaf and grass weeds in banana, citrus, coffee, cocoa, corn, oil palm, pineapple, sugarcane, tea, potato and non-cultivated land.
